Only A Heartcry Away

In the stillness of your silence, in the caverns of despair,
When you feel you’ve been forsaken, with not a soul fully aware
Of the agony within you that makes you want to die;
There in the silence waits a chance to change your life.

When you’re trapped by your surroundings,
And caught up in all your cares,
The complexities of living are much more than you can bear,
When your every dream has failed you,
And the answers have all fled,
There in the madness springs a hope you thought was dead.

Chorus
Only a heartcry away is comfort to calm you.
Only a heartcry away, love waits to run to you.
With any mountain you face there’s a wondrous Answer to it all:
There within speaking distance, Heaven waits to help you if you’ll call.
[Heaven waits to help you, come unto your rescue, liberate you,
Extricate, emancipate you now.]
[Heaven waits to give a hand, so give a shout, send up a flare,
Lift up your voice, go make that call now.]

When you find yourself in danger, or a loved one, oh, so dear,
And neither friend nor stranger can be called on to be near;
When you need some quick directions
To escape some mortal fear,
There in the stillness waits an answer loud and clear.

In a time of isolation, when you’re lying all alone
In a bed of pain and suffering, so far away from home;
When the doctors have no answers, and all earthly hope is gone,
There in the shadows lies the strength to carry on.

Only a heartcry away [Only a heartcry, a heartcry away].
Only a heartcry away [Only a heartcry, love waits to come]
With any mountain you face there’s a wondrous Answer to it all.
There within speaking distance, [Heaven waits to help you if you’ll call].
There within speaking distance, Heaven waits to help you
If you’ll call.
- If you call-.
